To reflect so far I must say it has been easier to say no too 'naughty' foods, and I think that that is because of this and the general team effort! YEAH!

FOOD BAN

From Kate -

I have cut quite a few bits and bobs - anything that is mainly sugar e.g cake & biscuits NO, but yoghurt & banana chips YES (but not loads).

Also I'm trying to eat as many fresh things as possible like freshly baked cake, hehe no, like fresh veg and fruit (if i can afford it).

I think the best way to describe my diet is 'medieval'! Veg, cheese, chicken, grapes, bread, apples! ummmm. I hoping it'll work, if not it tastes all good!

Ok, so these are the foods I'v got to stay away from:

-Cake
-Pizza (Hawaiians my fav!)
-Trifle :(
-Too many cocktails, especially Pink Ladies
-Custard Creams
-Ginger Biscuits
-and too much sugar in my tea's and coffees!







In fact, thinking about it, I eat WAY too much sugar and I thought I was more of a savour person! Well hopefully cutting down on these will help and of course I need to drink more water

as I hardly drink any and then hopefully I'll look a bit more like this:

Howdy there everyone! Welcome to Kate and Laura's new dieting blog, now its not a crazy "we cant eat anything diet" (that wouldn't last very long with us!) but as me and Kate live far apart we figured this would be a great way to to help inspire each other. Also, I'm a bit competitive so I want to check up on what Kate's doing!
If you want to add encouraging comments your more than welcome! Ok so heres why we decided to do this:
  • We've both tried to lose weight in the past, sometimes successfully
  • We both feel a bit heavy at the mo
  • We want to eat LOADS at Christmas so to lose the weight now for then seems a good idea
  • We were watching Strictly come dancing and LOVED all the dancers and we want to move and look that them! But no fake tan!














So follow us, we'll be posting whats working, whats not and how we're going to do it! Heres goes!!!!!!!!
